    • Salary: $72,651 - $99,129 p.a - Ongoing Full Time - RN/RM1

    Make a real difference and feel like an important part of the Eyre & Far North Local Health Network Community Nursing Team. As the Community Nurse, you will provide direct person-centred nursing care and individual case management to patients in the community setting at Port Lincoln. Working with clients in the community where there are multiple complexities and diverse cultural backgrounds, you will provide health promotion and education to patients and carers to improve the health outcomes of each individual. It is expected that you will provide support and guidance to newer or less experienced staff, Enrolled Nurses, student nurses and other workers providing basic nursing care. Community Nurses provide clinical care across the Eyre & Far North region depending on service needs/requirements.     About You

    • Must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse or Nurse/Midwife by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, and hold or be eligible to hold a current practicing certificate.
    • With demonstrated competence in nursing practice in accordance with the appropriate standards, you will have effective communication skills, including problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
    • With the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and prioritise workloads, you will be creative, innovative and flexible when approaching issues within a healthcare setting.
    • Demonstrated commitment to providing consumer/client and family centred care.
