    The Role

    Reporting to the Manager, Business Transformation Office this role will be responsible for change across key initiatives that will enable and deliver our transformation program. This role will work closely with program and project managers to coordinate and support communications, change and engagement across Melbourne Water. The role will also support business case development to ensure that change management resourcing is sufficient to balance the change framework and model for internal programs of scale, complexity and enterprise impact.

    This will be achieved through:

    • Leading the development and execution of an effective enterprise-wide change management plan.
    • Supporting the design and implementation of the change management framework and its successful implementation.
    • Leading in the aggregation of change activities with other organisational work and provide insights for change, communications and engagement.
    • Assisting the development of fit-for-purpose tools to enable a consistent approach to change initiatives that are delivered within the business.
    • Supporting business case development for change management resourcing.
    • Coaching business transformation project managers in SAFe agile principles to ensure adoption of best practices.
    • Working closely with project managers to advise on change management approach and successful implementation in transformation space.

    Your Skills and Experience

    • To be successful in this role you should have a tertiary degree in Business Administration, Management, Organisational Psychology or related field.
    • Proven experience in change management and organisational transformation.
    • Proven experience in design and implementation change management frameworks and strategies Demonstrated experience in using scrum, kanban, and scaled agile framework (SAFe).
    • Demonstrated skills in stakeholder management, relationship building, and fostering rapport.
    • Ability to analyse issues and think strategically.
    • Track record of implementing agile techniques in different work cultures and environments.
    • Ability to work closely with project managers to advise on change management approaches.
    • Certification in change management methodologies such as PCI, Prosci, ADKAR or similar frameworks is preferred.
    • Strong project management skills are desirable.
