    Assets and Infrastructure Services are looking for several Program Managers to join their team. The Infrastructure and Assets Directorate (IAD) encompasses Strategic and Operational Asset Management, Capital Project delivery and Maintenance Services. These services enable Metro South Health to continue to expand its scope and capacity of clinical services through facility capital renewals, redevelopment, maintenance activities and lease management. There are 2 full time positions available for 12 months.

    About the Role

    Provide leadership and high-level project management skills in the initiation, development, procurement and delivery of complex or high-risk capital projects in line with Metro South Health's approved project management methodologies. Apply high level technical expertise in the delivery of capital projects ensuring best for project outcomes are achieved. The role requires a strong focus on collaboration to ensure the Capital Delivery outputs are fully integrated with other projects being concurrently delivered across Metro South Health (MSH).

    • This role will support the Senior Director in managing the integration, performance, outputs, schedules and budgets relating to assigned projects (including consultants, quantity surveyors, superintendents etc.)

    • This position will have financial and contract delegations in accordance with the Metro South Health FMPM.
    • Foster a non-negotiable approach to zero harm and risk through a culture of collaboration and shared responsibility, by developing capability with all project personnel including MSH staff, stakeholders and external partners to ensure safety is the first project priority.
    • Proactively supervise, manage and influence project management activities, in line with the Metro South Health project management methodology (project lifecycle), developing formal project plans, budgets, supporting documentation, records and registers.
