    As we continue to focus on our transformation and growth strategy in the region, we are looking to appoint a talented HR Business Partner to support one of our key facilities in Laverton, Melbourne.

    Reporting to the HR Director, Australia, you will be responsible for building effective networks with Site Leaders to deliver focused HR solutions that meet current and future business needs.

    You'll also have full responsibility for the employee lifecycle for your client group while also being part of a broader HR team who love what they do and have fun doing it

    We operate a hybrid work environment which will give you the opportunity to build relationships on-site as well as the flexibility to work from home/remotely.

    To give you an idea of life as a HRBP at Lineage, if you worked here in the last month, here are some things you might have been doing:

  • Partnering with the site General Manager and leadership team to develop strategic solutions to enhance engagement, retention and employee development
  • Working closely with our front-line managers to coach them to build a strong culture that aligns with our Lineage values
  • Pulling on your high vis and walking the site to ensure you are keeping in touch with our leaders and employees, so you're best placed to develop and drive employee engagement.
  • Flexing your critical thinking skills to provide advice to leaders on risks and making recommendations associated with performance and disciplinary matters
  • Supporting the delivery of the annual talent identification and succession planning process with your site leaders
  • Delivering a workshop to new employees on Workplace Behaviour
  • Conducting workplace investigations including conducting interviews, writing reports and implementing recommended outcomes
  • Delivering training to people leaders designed to build people leadership capability across the business
  • Calling on a trusted HR colleague for a chat or specialist advice in the area of Rem & Bens or perhaps IR.
  • What you ideally bring to this role:

    You will be passionate about building strong professional relationships and will have mastered the art of influencing others. You will also be able to demonstrate where you have built leadership capability and contributed to improving culture and employee engagement. And, of course, you will be tertiary qualified in Human Resources, Psychology or Law.
