    Senior Supply Planner

    A Culture of Innovation, Collaboration and Execution

    We are seeking an experienced Senior Supply Planner to join our fast-paced, high-performing team.

    The Role

    This challenging and rewarding role involves leading and mentoring a small team of junior supply planners in a complex apparel business dealing with large volumes of stock-keeping units (SKU's). It is essential that you have experience working in high-volume environments such as apparel, pharmaceuticals or grocery industries. Additionally, you must be a confident communicator, able to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders, and possess a strong understanding of international supply chain documentation. The ability to work under pressure and prioritize your workload is also crucial.

    Duties

    1. Manage the purchase order (PO) process and create PO's for our brands
    2. Create PO's to meet requirements and lead times, ensuring timely delivery of goods
    3. Liaise with vendors and the planning team on the status of orders
    4. Work closely with freight forwarders to ensure all PO's are accurately processed and investigate any discrepancies
    5. Monitor incoming shipments with freight forwarders and suppliers
    6. Identify opportunities for consolidation – vessel capacity and schedules
    7. Verify pricing, duties, commissions, and royalties are accurate on all shipped PO's
    8. Monitor and review shipping conditions to ensure compliance
    9. Communicate regularly with the planning team on any delays or issues
    10. Coordinate with our warehouse and third-party logistics providers to schedule inbound deliveries
    11. Ensure timely receipt of goods according to agreed schedules
    12. Check for pricing errors and raise credits prior to customs clearance
    13. Track sales samples and promotional materials – goods receipt and billing
    14. Run reports in SAP to identify issues and implement solutions

    Requirements

    1. SAP knowledge is essential
    2. Experience working in apparel, pharmaceutical, or grocery industries
    3. Must have worked with large volumes of SKU's (1000's)
    4. Understanding of international trade and logistics practices, including documentation and Free Trade Agreements
    5. Experience in Purchase Order creation from factory pick-up to container/international hub to vessel to forwarder to warehouse
    6. Customer-focused with strong problem-solving and time management skills
    7. Adaptable and willing to learn with attention to detail
    8. Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and vlookups
