    The hospital welcomes applications from Consultant Psychiatrists who share a commitment to clinical leadership and safe and quality mental health care. They are seeking a Consultant Psychiatrist to join their highly professional and enthusiastic Mental Health Services team at the Hospital.

    About the Hospital:

    Our client's purpose-built 298-bed teaching hospital offers a suite of medical services from its location, 2 hours' drive from Melbourne. The hospital treats close to 130,000 people every year in their busy Emergency Department.

    The hospital provides services in various areas, including aged care, cancer care, elective surgery, maternity, rehabilitation, and mental health. It operates eight community mental health centres across the region and a Community Residential Care Unit.

    The Mental Health Service is the regional provider of mental health services, operating an integrated specialist mental health program across ten sites and providing inpatient and community mental health care for adults, children and young people, and older persons.

    About the Location:

    Located south east of Melbourne, this major geographic and economic region covers more than 21,000 square kilometres. The city has a growing population of 42,000 people, who enjoy its stunning natural environment, mild climate, and easy lifestyle.
