    Description
    We are seeking a Client Service Officer for a state government agency in Newcastle.

    In this role, you will deliver high-quality administrative and customer service, including in-person, phone, and email communication.

    This is a 4-month temporary assignment aiming to start by the end of April.

    The hourly rate is $35 per hour plus superannuation.


    You will be required to work on-site, five days a week, Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

    Client Details Our client is a reputable state government agency based in Newcastle.


    Description As a Client Service Officer (CSO), you will be tasked with providing high-quality services to customers that are reliable, timely, and consistent with the client's policies and guidelines during the administration of Trusts and Estates.


    This includes scenarios where the organisation has been appointed the Trustee of trust funds, or as Executor/Trustee of a Will, either when someone else is appointed but asks the client to take over their role, or where someone dies without a valid Will (intestate).


    The CSO plays an integral role within a Client Service Team, collectively responsible for delivering high-quality, consistent, and timely Trust and long-term Estate administration services.

    Typically, a CSO manages a caseload of 40-50 Trusts/Estates at various administration stages.

    A critical challenge of this role involves managing work outputs and navigating competing demands/priorities to ensure favourable customer outcomes.


    Profile The successful candidate will have: Strong interpersonal skills Customer Service Excellent Communication skills Time management and ability to manage competing deadlines.

    Investigative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

    Experience with dealing with a diverse range of clients, professionals, staff and community members.

    Experience working withing the legal or financial sectors is desirable but not necessary.
