    Regis Tiwi , Day Therapy Centre is home to a new professional physiotherapy centre providing high quality therapeutic services to older people living in the community including retirement villages.

    About the role

    An opportunity has become available for an experienced Physiotherapist to join the team at our Tiwi Day Therapy Centre on a full time basis.

    Duties & Responsibilities

  • Undertake comprehensive, holistic assessments including wellness and reablement reviews for each client
  • Plan, implement and review appropriate preventive and therapeutic care programmes in consultation with clients, to meet their wellness and reablement needs. The programme includes both individual and group sessions.
  • Document plans and therapeutic care as required
  • Regularly review and update Care Plans to reflect changes in client's circumstances and needs, through scheduled clinical reviews conducted annually or as required on the basis of feedback from clients, family or health professionals
  • Build highly supportive and positive relationships with the client, their family and medical advisors, external agencies
  • Skills & Experience

  • Experience and passion for working with older people
  • Experience working within community services programs, specifically CHSP will be highly regarded
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a high volume of work and to be flexible in dealing with constantly changing priorities and conflicting work pressures.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and within a team
  • Demonstrated computer literacy
  • Mandatory requirements for all candidates

  • Tertiary qualifications in Allied Health (Bachelor of Applied Science in Physiotherapy
  • Evidence that you have had the current year Flu and COVID -19 Vaccination x 3 or willingness to complete this before employment can be offered*
  • Proof of the right to work lawfully in Australia
  • Current police check (under 6 months, full disclosure unsupervised vulnerable people)
  • Current First Aid and CPR Qualifications
