- Completion of statutory financial statements to meet requirements
- Perform consolidations and preparation of consolidated financial statements
- Prepare cash flow statements and reconciliation
- Prepare quarterly accounts for reporting to financiers
- Assist in review of ledgers and liaison with divisional and head office accounting teams to ensure the year-end process has been finalised to enable financial statements to be completed
- Assist in managing the year-end external audit process
- Involvement in tax consolidation
- Seek to improve processes particularly in the areas of consolidation and reporting
- Professionally qualified accountant – experience in a large and complex reporting environment strongly preferred.
- Able to work with senior business managers
- Good time and people management skills to manage the reporting process and deadlines
- Excellent communication skills to engage a variety of stakeholders
- Able to think laterally, improve processes and to add value
- A self-starter
