    Job Description

    As a Developer in our Technology Business Unit, you will provide a practical level of IT technical expertise in your area to provide a support service to customers or more senior IT professionals, making recommendations for improvement where relevant. You may be involved in activities like information gathering, requirement analysis, undertaking defined tasks on large IT projects and may coordinate the activities of a small team in providing a variety of administrative or support services to the business.

    Please note this is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract, we are only considering AU Citizens and Permanent Residents at this time

    YOUR KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

    Working within a delivery pod:

    • Undertakes software development or system analysis/testing with readily available supervision.
    • Completes simple maintenance tasks and makes routine upgrades to existing systems against preset criteria
    • Responds to customer enquiries and issues, escalating where necessary.
    • Coordinates with the other relevant IT departments and work streams to ensure the smooth business operation of processes flow in accordance with the established procedures.
    • Maintain systems, processes and documentation to deliver administrative processes and procedures effectively.
    • Deliver projects so that all information is kept up to date and coordinated on behalf of the project team.
    • Identify technical problems and find resolutions or refer problems as necessary.
    • Prepare standard management information reports with relevant data to help management decision-making in the Business Unit.

    Qualifications

    • Relevant academic qualification, e.g. High School Certificate plus relevant vocational (IT) training
    • Experience in an IT environment to enable independent management of an administrative work stream
    • Good written and verbal skills to articulate technical issues associated to work area
    • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team member
    • Computer literacy and a good knowledge of standard computer software
    • Solid experience working with .NET framework and ASP.NET and .NET Core
    • Strong C# experience
    • Strong Skills developing for Microsoft SQL SERVER
    • XP/TDD/Agile development
    • Strong Analytical Skills
    • Demonstrable experience in analysis and programming in a commercial delivery-focused organisation
    • Strong experience with Full stack development and React
    • Azure experience
