- Supporting Axon's Trade activities in-region, including;
- Customs Clearance
- Customs Brokering
- Product Trade classifications and certificates
- Logistics Coordination
- Coordination with company stakeholders on implementation of relevant regional trade controls including;
- Supply Chain
- Sales
- Research & Development
- Manufacturing
- Support of Axon's Export Administration Regulation (EAR) and International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
- Including licensing for manufacturing, R&D, and sales hardware exports
- Analysis of new systems and technology for relevant export controls
- General Trade recordkeeping
- Engagement with regional Governmental Regulatory bodies for relevant product classifications, certifications, and trade reporting
- Liaise with Axon's global compliance teams to execute support work in-region, including
- Product certification and testing
- Recordkeeping
- Remote product meetings
- Regional Test Product inventory management
- Experience working with government regulatory bodies
- Bachelor's Degree; and
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Conversational skills in at least one relevant regional language (Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Malay, or Mandarin) as well as English
- Minimum of 5 years Global Logistics experience (air, sea, and road carriers and/or freight forwarders)
- Experience working with weapons manufacturers or industries;
- Experience working with product certification programs (e.g. RoHs, CE, FCC, REACH)
