Job Description:

Reporting to the Front Office Manager, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Process and input reservations following hotel reservations policy.
  • Ensure correct documentation is received for all payment details.
  • Ensure guest preferences and special requests are communicated efficiently and accurately to all relevant departments.
  • Assist Front Office Manager in achieving benchmark Data Quality scores, and maintaining a culture of collecting accurate data.
  • Manage all group billing issues and resolve any account disputes, and liaise with Assistant Managers on account enquiries and disputes.
  • Maintain a positive selling approach to maximise yield in both occupancy and rates.
  • Ensure arrivals list is checked on a daily basis displaying correct rate and market codes.
  • Consistently deliver a product and service to meet the quality, standards and expectation of customers.
  • Management of VIP bookings.
  • Processing of cancellations and noshow bookings in accordance with hotel policy.
  • Produce reports and statistics as requested, including group forecasts and business turndowns.
  • Report any high risk or potentially fraudulent reservation to the Director of Revenue.


  • Passion for client and guest engagement, always seeking to find the YES in every situation.
  • Strong sales approach and true passion for driving and generating business.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Knowledge and proven experience of OPERA systems would be considered highly favourable.
