Elite Concrete Protection & Repair has been established as a specialist contracting service within the Commercial, Industrial, Marine and Strata Industries providing professional and quality workmanship remediating and protecting new and existing concrete structures.

Our services are extensive incorporating concrete repair, concrete protection, crack repair, chemical injection, grouting, remedial construction applications, waterproofing, industrial flooring jointing, acid proofing, structural strengthening and project management.

THE ROLE

Elite CPR are currently seeking an experienced Estimator to join our expanding Estimating Team within our fast paced, fast growing business based in Osborne Park. You will be reporting directly to the Directors and will be primarily responsible for producing and preparing tenders/estimates and quotes ensuring an efficient business turnaround.

RESPONSIBILITES

• Initial assessment of tenders and enquiries received to determine the size and scope of the project. Source all additional information as required from the client
• Preparation of tenders/estimates using a combination of industry methods, material take offs, bill of quantities, cost analysis, existing productivity rates and similar tenders/estimates submissions.
• Liaise with and attend tender site meetings with clients during tender period to determine all necessary scopes to prepare tender estimates and submission documents including preparing and developing construction methodologies and programs.
• Timely project follow-up after the submission of tenders and associated record keeping determining current status of projects, including liaison with colleagues to ensure comprehensive and accurate information is maintained.
• Comply with and improve Quality procedures related to tendering and execution of works.
• Attend and manage hand over meeting with site personnel including the preparation of handover documents and job packs.
• Monitor and maintain scheduling durations of site works & report to the Directors.
• Secure projects with good quality and competitively priced tender documents.

ABOUT YOU

• 2-5 years experience in an estimating role within the construction industry, remedial industry desirable
• Sound knowledge of the construction industry & practices
• Simpro knowledge highly regarded but not essential
• Well presented and punctual
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Self motivated with exceptional time management skills, multitasking and well organised
• Able to work in a team environment effectively
• Assist in maintaining a positive work environment and culture
• Excellent attention to detail
