- Key role in our Risk Management division
- Conduct enhanced due diligence on new and existing customers to identify potential AML/CTF risk.
- Investigate identify suspicious activities and transactions to detect and prevent financial crimes.
- Assess and assign risk ratings to customers based on IFL customer risk rating methodology.
- Stay updated of regulatory developments and industry best practices related to financial crime prevention and AML/CTF compliance.
- Proven Knowledge in AML/CTF compliance reporting obligations, typologies and red flags.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to escalate and address potential financial crime issues.
- Tertiary qualification in finance, Accounting, Business, or related studies, desirable.
- Professional certification such as Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) is desirable.
- Demonstrated experience in financial crime role, with a focus on enhanced customer due diligence and investigation.
- Strong understanding AML/CTF regulations, KYC requirements, and other financial crime frameworks.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify potential financial crime risks.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate complex concepts clearly and concisely.
- Ability to work proactively and independently has a positive and enthusiastic work attitude.
