The Company

Newly created role for an experienced Financial Accountant with fixed assets experience to join this well known consumer brand. This is initially a contract role assisting through a backlog of work and up coming project.

This is role will be starting as a 6 month contract in second half of April.

The Role

Reporting into the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for management of the Fixed and Tangible assets, including additions, disposals and transfers. You will manage the depreciation and amortisation, maintain tax register and all reconciliations and reporting.

In addition you will be responsible for month end processing and reconciliations for related accounts. You will prepare related monthly reports, assist in half year and year end close, audits and reporting. You will analyse accounts where required.

You will also create a capital expenditure report and other ad-hoc reports.

About You

To be considered for this role you will be CA/CPA qualified (or working towards qualification). You will have previous experience working as a Financial Accountant for a fast paced business and will have exposure to fixed assets. You will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills and the ability to work without close supervision.
