- With supervision, perform assigned modular tasks and respond to inquiries from stakeholders.
- Perform simple technical activities associated with improving system Integration.
- Develop knowledge of System integration practices.
- With limited supervision, deliver assigned broader tasks and provide guidance to stakeholders.
- Actively engage with stakeholders to ensure system reliability, manage expectations and develop capability improvements
- Maintain a sound working knowledge of Integration Engineering practices.
- Take responsibility for end-to-end delivery of assigned projects by coordinating with stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development of reliability and resilience processes.
- Analyse ASD capabilities to identify systems for improvement.
- Plan and develop improvements to ASD capabilities.
- Supervise junior staff.
- Work under broad direction to improve the availability of services.
- Perform a leadership role and manage a team of Systems Integration engineers.
- Engage with key stakeholders across the organization to develop and improve reliability processes.
- Coordinate with divisional stakeholder, develop integration standards and frameworks for the organization.
- Have a deeper understanding of various technologies, architectures and industry best practices.

Mission Data (MD) Division within the Australian Signals Directorate (ASD) is responsible for providing the foundational data capabilities to support all of ASD's functions. We do this via the provision of data platforms and services, management of ASD's mission data, and providing complex analytic development and support, including Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning capabilities. All roles within MD require extensive knowledge of and compliance with legislative frameworks, government decision-making and Defence's mission and policies requirements.
