    You will lead the team to achieve safe, efficient and cost effective manufacturing operations and meet high standards and compliance.

    With a collaborative and customer-centric approach, you will maintain excellent relationships with all internal and external stakeholders, ensuring and planning workload for the workshop by managing production and projects as per the set financial and quality standards.

    Duties:

    • Managing and coordinating the materials, equipment and labour requirements needed to meet production deadlines;
    • Working closely with other departmental teams to manage production loss and implementing new processes and/or training where required to minimise waste;
    • Organise labour resources, materials & consumables to achieve production schedules
    • Assistance with planning, quoting and estimating
    • Working closely with the interdepartmental teams to ensure every product meets the superior quality standard.
    • Providing regular and ongoing on-the-job coaching and training for the team to help ensure that every team member understands what is expected of them;
    • Ensure all equipment is serviced and maintained in a safe working condition and arrange maintenance as required
    • Leading by example to ensure best practice production techniques and methods of working;
    • Attending, contributing to and/or facilitating regular team meetings;
    • Leading the training for all employees introducing them to various practices and principles;
    • Effectively managing performance across the team;
    • Working quickly to resolve any OH&S issues that are identified
