    About the Role:
    This is an opportunity for an enthusiastic Mental Health Clinician to join the HOPE Team within Northern Health's Mental Health Division, located in Pascoe Vale.

    The HOPE program is a multidisciplinary team made up of clinicians, psychosocial support workers, and a Peer/Carer Lived Experience workforce alongside the HOPE Consultant Psychiatrist.

    We provide specialist mental health services to people living in the local government areas of Merri Bek and Hume.

    This position is ongoing part-time, working 48 hours per fortnight.

    To be successful in this role you will need:

    • Appropriate qualifications as a Grade 2 Psychologist, Social Worker, Occupational Therapist, or Grade 3 Registered Psychiatric Nurse.
    • A passion for contributing positively to people experiencing suicidal ideation precipitated by psychosocial stressors.
    • Experience in providing psychiatric assessment and intervention, preferably in a public mental health setting.
    • Ability to provide general and discipline-specific mental health assessment and intervention.
    • Ability to work as part of a team but also autonomously.
