    Remuneration: ASO4 ($75,430 - $79,070 p.a.) + 11% Superannuation

    The Department for Child Protection is seeking an Office Manager and Executive Assistant to join the Office of the Chief Human Resources Officer on a full-time ongoing basis.

    The role is responsible for:

    • Providing comprehensive personal and confidential secretarial, administrative and project support service to the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).
    • Overseeing the management of records within the Office of the CHRO and liaising with staff in the Office of the Chief Executive to facilitate efficient workflow.
    • Liaising with all levels of the public and private sector, Senior Departmental Officers and Ministerial Offices on behalf of the CHRO.
    • Facilitating the office management requirements of the HR Directorate, as well as monitoring telephone calls and managing a dynamic diary.

    About You

    We are looking for a well-organised individual with excellent customer service skills and a proven ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

    You will have experience providing high quality executive support in a confidential manner, having dealt with highly sensitive matters with tact and diplomacy.

    Excellent time management skills, a significant attention to detail and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and high volumes of work will be key to your success.
