    About the Role

    Reporting to the Regional Manufacturing Manager, this key leadership role at our O'Connor site is accountable for meeting or exceeding our production targets while ensuring a strong focus on safety and quality. Ensuring the excellence of our site production services through continuous improvement, project management, and inspiring leadership are key to success.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Providing leadership to a team of around 30 so every member can contribute to their full potential, and is motivated to perform and grow with Vinidex
    • Driving a pro-active safety culture and instilling safe work behaviours in every person on site
    • Coordinating the site resources to achieve the production plan so all commitments are met on time and in full.
    • Driving operational improvement using lean manufacturing principles to inform and guide activities.

    About You

    • You are an experienced 'hands-on" people leader with a production or manufacturing background looking to grow your career with more responsibility and bigger, interesting challenges
    • Tertiary qualified, you will likely hold a degree in a science or engineering discipline
    • You are comfortable working for a multi-site manufacturing organisation, welcoming the opportunity to collaborate with your peers on all opportunities
