Job summary

Safe at Home supports women and their children who are experiencing, or have experienced, domestic and/or family violence to remain safely in their home. The Program Coordinator will focus on building the quality and impact of the Safe at Home program statewide.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and strengthen relationships and partnerships with partners across South Australia to deliver a vital program to victim-survivors.
  • Apply project management experience to coordinate and strengthen relationships and partnerships with partners across South Australia.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of domestic and family violence and the impacts for women and children, particularly in the South Australian context.
  • Experience working in project/program management or coordination capacity with responsibility for coordinating activities in a high-pressured environment.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge and experience of stakeholder engagement, including developing collaborative working relationships, and in building and maintaining relationships with government, non-government, business and community organisations.
  • Understanding of the foundational approaches to working with women and children who have experienced domestic and/or family violence.
