Diesel Mechanic - Victoria, Australia - Fuse Recruitment

Description

We are currently seeking four experienced Diesel Mechanics to join our team based in Brooklyn. The ideal candidates will have a strong mechanical background and expertise in diesel engines. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel-powered vehicles and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.

Salary: $65 per hour + Superannuation (includes loading)
Overtime: Overtime is available daily and on Saturdays if you wish.
Shift: Afternoon Shift - 12:00pm to 10:00pm
Work Schedule: Monday to Thursday (4 days per week)

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting diagnostics to identify issues with diesel engines, transmissions, and other mechanical components.
• Performing repairs and replacements on diesel engines, fuel systems, brakes, and electrical systems.
• Conducting routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks.
• Troubleshooting mechanical problems and developing effective solutions.
• Adhering to safety protocols and regulations at all times.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of diesel engine systems and components.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Flexibility to work afternoon shifts

Shifts Available

2 x Diesel Mechanics - Monday to Thursday (12pm - 10pm)
2 x Diesel Mechanics - Tuesday to Friday (12pm - 10pm)
