    As our ANZ Industrial Engineer you'll be responsible for developing Manufacturing Strategies and leading Operational Benchmarking to enable the GROWTH ambitions of technologies in ANZ.

    The right candidate will transform business needs into tangible supply outcomes, driving capital investment and strategic business decisions.

    What would be your key responsibilities?

    • Role model the use and application of the Mars Quality Principle and the Mars Global Quality Standards.
    • Role model the application of Mars safety standards in order to safeguard our associates and the assets we use.
    • Responsible to complete the submissions of all large minor and major capital projects liaising with key cross functional stakeholders to gain alignment on the proposal.
    • Leads and role models best practice tools and techniques covering Early Scope Alignment and Engineering Work Process across large minor and major projects
    • Define the role of technology manufacturing sites within Australia (Factory Network Strategy) to support the requirements of the ANZ business over the long-term horizon.
    • Ensure technology capital investment roadmaps are aligned to the factory network and business strategy.
    • Support and drive Value Leadership activities that require capital investment and cross functional support to drive improvements to overall COGS
    • Define the role of technology manufacturing sites within Australia (Factory Network Strategy) to support the requirements of the ANZ business over the long-term horizon.
    • Recommend the Sourcing Strategy for Australia to enable our growth, earnings and cash objectives.
    • Lead or support activities prioritized by the TLT to drive improvements in service levels, product design criteria and cost.
    • Support marketing and R&D in new product introduction and innovation management with business analysis and co-ordination of supply input against agreed priorities.
    • Maintain a financial shaping process to continually assess technology KPIs, SIG, Q&FS, TRS, EP, NQC and refine the capital investment strategy and direct business improvement priorities.
    • Recommend and maintain an Australian CAB, refining it over a 3-5yr rolling timeframe to enable delivery of our business goals.
    • Lead the Australian plants in review of global benchmarking data to improve performance. Engages with the Global IEs and shares global performance initiatives and information across the supply community

    What are we looking for?

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
    • Mars Supply experience in IE at a Site Level.
    • Some Operational or Engineering experience preferred
    • Significant Mars business understanding
    • Proven strength in delivering results through multi-functional project teams
    • LEAN experience
    • Ability to travel as required
