    The Opportunity

    Come and discover the opportunity to join our Processing and Logistics team at our Port Kembla NSW manufacturing facility as a Business Engineer . As a part of the broader Australian Steel Products portfolio, we have six major manufacturing sites at Port Kembla that deliver a variety of products, innovative solutions and services to our export and domestic customers.

    In this key leadership role that impacts the safety of our people as well as the quality and reliability of our equipment and products, you will lead, motivate and develop our high performing team of 6 logistics staff to meet and exceed our customer needs.

    What Will You Do?

    Your experience in dealing with a variety of teams in an industrial relations context, as well as your process management and site based safety management systems experience you will bring:

  • proven leadership abilities including high-level communication and influencing
  • a drive for team results, with an emphasis to develop the team to achieve success and foster and maintain a collaborative team culture
  • experience in managing many stakeholder interests and competing priorities
  • identifying, coordinating and leading team-based improvement projects
  • good understanding of business systems, analysis and procedures
  • commitment to lead process improvement, problem-solving and sharing ideas with your team

  • tertiary qualifications in engineering, logistics or related discipline
