    Why Your Role Matters:

    This role will be situated within the School of Business and arises from a research project with Pacific Biofuels. The candidate will be involved in Data driven modelling for quantifying the impact of social programs in PNG, under the direction of the project's UNSW lead.

    Responsibilities:

    The candidate will be responsible for developing surveys for baseline data collection and monitoring. On the collected data, econometrics modelling should be done to measure the impact of the intervention. The refined models should be utilised to derive economic insights and support evidence-based decision-making to assess the socio-economic impact of the intervention between the control and experimental groups. Blockchain technology should be used to encode and secure survey data across baseline, first monitoring, and second monitoring stages.

    Who You Are:

    Research Fellow (Level B)

    You will have a PhD in Data Analytics or a related discipline with the following skills and experience:-

    • Demonstrated strong performance in quantitative survey analysis, econometrics modelling and Blockchain-Enabled Data Integrity.
    • Demonstrated ability to undertake high-quality academic research and conduct independent research
    • High level communication skills and ability to network effectively and interact with the industry partner of the project along with a diverse range of students and staff.
    • Demonstrated ability to work in a team, collaborate across disciplines and build effective relationships.
    • Evidence of highly developed interpersonal and organisational skills.
    • An understanding of and commitment to UNSW's aims, objectives and values in action, together with relevant policies and guidelines.
    • Knowledge of health and safety responsibilities and commitment to attending relevant health and safety training.

    Eligibility:
