    The Role
    Make a difference in our community

    The role will lead and contribute to the development, assessment and implementation of strategic projects, structure plans, development plans and planning scheme amendments of strategic importance to Council. The position joins a high performing team that has responsibility for diverse planning activities from inception through to implementation to ensure high quality, sustainable outcomes for the community.

    About you
    You will demonstrate sound experience undertaking and managing multi-disciplinary planning projects from inception to implementation, and have an ability to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders to deliver outcomes in a timely manner.

    You will demonstrate experience working in or with Local Government and, ideally, have an understanding of land use and development planning in the context of a growth area municipality. You will demonstrate an ability to effectively prioritise tasks and work through complex planning issues.

    To be considered for this role, you must have tertiary qualification in Urban Planning or a related discipline.
