    • Manage a mixed caseload with complex and varied needs.
    • Be able to work with customers of all ages, their families and carers to identify strengths, skills and goals.
    • Use appropriate assessment tools and methods to assess strengths and areas of development, in order to identify suitable intervention strategies.
    • Be able to deliver therapy in a variety of environments, e.g. centre based, schools/preschools, group homes, homes and via telehealth.
    • Contribute proactively to the ongoing development of professional knowledge and skills within the Speech Pathology profession.

    Requirements:

    • Tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology.
    • Current registration with Speech Pathology Australia.
    • Experience delivering evidence based therapy to a paediatric, adolescent and/or adult caseload.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage a caseload and administrative responsibilities in an autonomous, efficient and effective manner.
    • An understanding of the NDIS framework and working within a fee for service model is desired.
    • Be able to work collaboratively as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
    • Demonstrate excellent communication skills – written, oral and listening.
    • NDIS Worker Check (or willingness to obtain)
    • Current First Aid Certificate (including CPR) or willingness to obtain one.
    • Current NSW Working With Children Check or willingness to obtain one
