    Join our vibrant team in Latrobe and Devonport, Northern Tasmania as a part time medical receptionist and contact centre agent , on a 12 month fixed term contract working rotating shifts between 7.45am and 6pm, 4 days a week(Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday) and be part of something truly special

    Role Overview:

    As a Dual Role - Medical Receptionist and Contact Centre Agent, you'll be the friendly face at our clinic reception desk and the voice on the other end of the phone. Your responsibilities will include:

    Medical Receptionist Duties:

  • Greet patients warmly and create a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Efficiently manage appointment bookings, cancellations, and rescheduling.
  • Handle patient inquiries, ensuring accurate information is provided.
  • Maintain organized patient records and assist with administrative tasks.
  • Collaborate with our clinical team to ensure smooth clinic operations.
  • Contact Centre Agent Duties:

  • Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally.
  • Assist patients with general inquiries, appointment confirmations, and follow-ups.
  • Provide empathetic support and guidance during phone interactions.
  • Document call details accurately in our system.
  • Collaborate with other contact centre agents to meet service level targets.
  • Qualifications and Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Proficiency in using phone systems and basic computer applications.
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior experience in medical reception or call centre roles is advantageous.
  • Empathy and patience when dealing with patients over the phone.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage both reception and call centre responsibilities.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
