    Description

    What you will be doing

    We are looking for an Early Childhood Educator for our Alpha ELC, on a full-time or part-time basis.

    Responsibilities

  • Assisting in the preparation, implementation and evaluation of developmentally appropriate programs for individual children or groups
  • Ensuring the maintenance of a healthy, safe and stimulating
  • Contributing positively to the development of children's independence and self-esteem
  • Recording observations of individual children or groups for program planning purposes
  • Undertaking and implementing the requirements of quality assurance

    The ideal candidate will have:

  • Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
  • Current First Aid & CPR in an education and care setting (HLTAID012)
  • Understanding and appreciation of cultural diversity
  • Proficiency in computer use
  • Excellent written and oral skills in English is a A second language is highly recommended
  • Undergo a National Criminal History Record Check
  • Working with Children Check
  • In accordance with Alpha ELC and PRONIA policy, applicants must have a minimum 2 doses of the COVID- 19 vaccine, or have a valid medical exemption certificate.
