    A fantastic opportunity at nbn, Australia's largest infrastructure project, as a Senior Manager Enterprise Resilience (Business Continuity Management), reporting to the Executive Manager Enterprise Resilience.

    A bit about your role

    Reporting to the Executive Manager - Enterprise Resilience, the purpose of the Senior Manager Enterprise Resilience (BCM) is to lead the design, execution and performance of an enterprise business continuity program that is fit for purpose, reflects industry leading practices, and is integrated with other strategic and operational resilience activities across nbn.

    As the principal subject matter expert and trusted advisor for the enterprise on business continuity frameworks, standards, practices and capabilities, the role leads a small, centralised team of specialists and will work closely with a broad base of internal stakeholders.

    The role is pivotal in evolving and sustaining a BCM program that reflects the role and risk profile of nbn as a critical infrastructure owner and operator, is simple to apply within business units and functions, enables data driven and timely decisions and deliver continuous improvement and strong program level performance. The role directly influences the readiness of the business to navigate complexity, disruption events and build on a culture of organisational resilience.

    A bit about you

    The ideal candidate for this position must possess a strong experience in the business continuity profession, with good background at the enterprise level within a large, complex critical infrastructure operator environment. They should have a depth and breadth of experience in relevant technical areas such as design, implementation, support, and enablement of business continuity management programs.

    Additionally, strong leadership skills are required to lead dispersed teams and develop high-performance teams. Project, program, and change management experience across various organizations is crucial, along with the ability to demonstrate flexibility in strategy while still achieving results. Special skills in crisis and emergency management, along with strong commercial acumen in the telecommunications industry, are essential.

    The candidate must also possess exceptional communication and influencing skills, as well as high levels of planning and organizing skills to succeed in this role. Any certifications like RMIA certification, BCI certification or international equivalents are an added advantage.
