    Responsibilities

    • Ensure the processes and outcomes of the Group Purchasing Team reflect the business strategy and metrics
    • Active leadership in the execution of purchased SLOBS clearance plans ensuring appropriate management techniques are in place to succeed
    • In conjunction with the Group Procurement team, actively manage vendor performance to established metric requirements
    • Ensure that all system material master data is accurate for purchasing requirements, both inbound from vendors and for transfer activity around the DC and stores networks
    • Improve and maintain exceptional levels of insight to inbound international shipping
    • Ensure all regulatory requirements are met with a focus on DG and SDS information for all stores in advance of their arrival on site and meet company S&S expectations

    Skills & Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in supply chain or related discipline.
    • Minimum of 5 years experience in supply chain environments including planning and purchasing.
    • Ability to develop, drive and apply continuous process improvement tools.
    • Experience with managing large data sets and delivering actionable insight
    • Highly proficient understanding of ERP systems (SAP preferred).
    • Proficient user of MS Office suite, particularly Excel and Power BI
