    As a Demi Chef in Sokyo at The Star Sydney, you will be given the opportunity to work alongside some of the best Chefs in our worldclass restaurants

    A few of your responsibilities:

    • Run specific sections assigned by the Sous Chef
    • Keep informed with the Daily Occupancy Charts
    • Oversee duties or work stations
    • Advise management of inventory requirements
    • Conduct on-the-job training for Cooks and Apprentice Chefs

    What are we looking for:

    • Culinary qualifications such as Commercial Cookery Cert III, is required
    • Prior experience in an up-market Sushi restaurant
    • Someone who is able to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Full-working rights to commit to work across mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays
    • Ability to work collaboratively and build positive relationships with others
