    The Associate Director, Capital Markets Transaction Management is critical to making this happen and will be responsible for the Transaction Management function within Group Treasury's Funding Team. The role will report to the Head of Group Funding and is expected to take a leadership role in managing the transaction management function across our secured and unsecured debt portfolio's instruments are appropriately managed post execution and that all payment obligations and regulatory / listing / compliance requirements are met

    What will your day look like

    As an Associate Director, Capital Markets Transaction Management, you will be responsible for:

    • Manage Group Treasury's transaction management function, ensuring that all secured and unsecured debt capital market issues and hybrid capital instruments are appropriately managed post execution and that all payment obligations and regulatory / listing / compliance requirements are met
    • Develop a skilled team who are cross trained across the different functional areas of the Treasury operations team
    • Identify, design and implement operational efficiency improvements that improve productivity and/or reduce costs
    • Role model the standards of Risk, compliance and behaviours as required by ANZ
    • Provide an environment where employees are motivated & engaged to ensure optimal delivery of customer service

    What will you bring?

    To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

    • Extensive experience in a financial market's operations environment such as derivative settlements, fixed income settlements, and money market settlements, clearing systems such as Austraclear and LCH
    • Relevant financial market systems experience. Deep knowledge and experience with Murex is essential, bloomberg would be advantageous
    • Regulatory reporting experience would be highly regarded
    • Experience with management reporting and internal/external audit requirements
    • Organisational, leadership and time management skills. Experience managing and developing a team would be highly regarded though not essential
    • Confident communicator with strong customer service and risk management focus
    • Confident analysing large and complex data sets
    • Ability to manage pipeline of work and prioritise as needed
