- Lead a team who work on a rotating roster providing coverage 24 hours a day, 5-6 days a week, scheduling work and managing breakdowns, maintenance, and improvement projects.
- Be present and, on the floor, hands on and leading from the front. There is a process improvement element to this position which you will manage and oversee as well.
- Work 'Day Shift' and engaging closely with machine services, maintenance, dispatch, and scheduling. You will manage day-to-day site electrical maintenance requirements.
- Manage consumables, purchase requirements, escalate any nonconformities and issues that arise. Manage the workload of the electrical maintenance team.
- Oversight of safety standards, procedures and processes, planning, standards and controls, workforce planning and any technical requirements.
- Hold a current unrestricted A class electrical license.
- Previous experience leading a team in a fixed plant and/or manufacturing environment.
- An ability to read electrical schematics/drawings together with PLC & VSD experience.
- An analytical mindset, keenly focussed on process and continuous improvement.
- Experience working in a fast paced, high-volume environment while maintaining the required safety standards.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and a "get the job done" approach every day.
