Description

Our client is a specialist in delivering one-off custom-homes and knock-down rebuild projects across Melbourne and it's inner suburbs.

They are now seeking an experienced Senior Estimator who will be responsible for the accurate and precise completion of estimates for their architecturally designed projects.

Your responsibilities will include:
Prepare production estimates for standard and custom designs.
Obtain accurate quotes for new projects.
Manage production estimating and order creation.
Compile construction files for supervisors with on-site documentation.
Develop cost assessments and implement changes for ongoing projects.
Collaborate with the construction team for cost control.
Optimise trade/supplier processes for margin retention.
Foster strong working relationships with stakeholders.

We are seeking candidates with:
Prior estimating experience or a similar role.
Knowledge of construction processes, building regulations, and residential codes.
Strong analytical skills and numerical proficiency.
Effective organisational and time management abilities.
Excellent communication and verbal skills.
Ability to prioritise and multitask while maintaining attention to detail.
