- Support the management and delivery of Perpetual Corporate Trust's strategic and product initiatives
- Contribute to product strategy and vision for products covered with an eye towards innovative concepts and solutions
- Manage risk assessments and support the risk management of PCT products and initiates
- Maintain awareness of, and report on, regulatory, risk, compliance and legal aspects of new and existing product offerings and strategic initiatives
- Research and develop requirements for new product concepts
- Assess client needs and 'pain points' to inform product roadmap
- Document detailed business and functional requirements which accurately interpret market / client's needs
- Coordinate and provide clear scope documentation, use cases, workflows, design, product requirements, user stories and other materials as needed to support product design and development
- Provide product guidance for technical delivery teams and external consultants in the development of new product features
- Provide detailed product information for sales and marketing material and strategies
- Support the sales team in technical client presentations and support clients with complex product queries
- Contribute market data, cost analysis and assumptions to support understanding competitiveness, business impact & product profitability
- Ensure product collateral and user documents remains current, relevant, and compliant
- Prepare and coordinate content for product papers and business cases for new strategy and product initiatives
- Support strategic initiatives as required (M&A, research, due diligence)
- Bachelor degree or similar
- 2+ years working in a product team and high level understanding of product development lifecycle and project management principles
- 3+ years business experience in Banking and Financial Services, Debt Capital Markets and/or Funds Management
- Experience in prioritising stories based on user need, business impact and technical effort to efficiently manage backlog.
- Work with multiple products/projects/business units in parallel and able to come up to speed quickly in new business areas, balance multiple initiatives, while keeping a high level of performance and client service
- Experience in working in an agile product team and ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Good presentation skills with proven track record creating concise, compelling content and business case to present and sell concepts through to senior management
- Has developed some analysis & financial modelling skills.
