As a part of the broader Australian Steel Products portfolio, we have six major manufacturing sites at Port Kembla that deliver a variety of products, innovative solutions and services to our export and domestic customers.

In this specialised leadership role, you will lead a multi-skilled Mechanical team focusing on the delivery of Mechanical Maintenance requirements for the No.2 Coke Plant departmentwhile ensuring you champion a safety-first culture.

To ensure operational productivity and asset preservation targets are achieved, you'll provide technical expertise on challenges with our equipment and manage the team's success through their performance and productivity to ensure our business plan objectives and targets are continually met.

What Will You Do?Reporting to the Asset Manager, you willlead and mentor a high performing team in a dynamic and exciting manufacturing environment.

In doing so, you will:

manage team members in the areas of performance, timekeeping, leave, training and personal developmentmanagement of plant maintenance activities, including planning, organising, execution and review of maintenance for upcoming shutdownsmanage large scale industrial capital projects with the assistance of your teamensure safety standards are adhered to, making suitable changes when risks and opportunities are identifiedmanage maintenance costssupervise maintenance activities and strive for business improvements and manufacturing excellenceestablish a culture of continuous improvement to eliminate waste and improve team performance More About You As an enthusiastic and motivated leader, you will demonstrate a willingness to develop your team in achieving success.

You will bring:
