    Job Summary

    The WA Country Health Service (WACHS) is seeking Clinical Nurse Specialists with experience in paediatric, developmental paediatric and/or community health nursing to join their team. The successful candidate will work with Paediatricians, allied health, families, and key stakeholders to support clinical care across the outpatient and community setting for children with neurodevelopmental needs.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Act as a role model and consultant to nurses and other health service providers providing knowledge, clinical expertise, and best practice nursing for children with neurodevelopmental needs and their families.
    • Work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
    • Develop and implement clinical practice improvement and quality improvement principles.

    Requirements:

    • Eligible for registration in the category of Registered Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
    • Demonstrated significant clinical knowledge, experience, and leadership in paediatric or child health nursing.
    • Advanced interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills, including the ability to work in cross-cultural settings.
