    ABOUT THE COMPANY.

    This reputable Local Council based in Inner West Sydney is seeking a Parking Officer to play a pivotal part in their team. For the duration of this 6 month contract, you will be reporting to the Coordinator, and promoting a positive image of Council in an efficient and courteous manner.

    ABOUT THE POSITION.

    As a Parking Officer you will actively undertake the business functions associated with parking enforcement activities, record keeping, preparation of evidence, representing Council at legal proceedings and liaise with the community, team members and Council staff. This is the perfect opportunity to begin your career in this field of work within the Public Sector and be surrounded by a supportive and highly dedicated team.

    DUTIES.

    • Enforce parking provisions within the Local Government Area
    • Ensure vehicular turnover of parking spaces
    • Provide excellent customer service to the public
    • Report other non-related parking matters to Council

    SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.

    • A Class C Driver's Licence is required
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to learn and apply legislation as required
    • Ability to work autonomously and be self-motivated
