As a senior systems engineer, you'll be integral to enhancing operations and shaping strategic direction.

    Description

    Reporting to the Tech Services Team Leader you will be responsible for:

    • Support BUA, Ensure day-to-day operation, administration, and support of the group IT platform.
    • Within an ITIL framework, ensure that IT changes are controlled and do not adversely affect the business.
    • Be a key point of escalation to resolve technical issues.
    • Ensure communication with key stakeholders is current and effective.
    • Support and engage with a diverse customer base from both office and site-based locations.
    • Collaborate, and work effectively with other teams in the wider IT group.

    Profile

    To be considered for and successful in this role you will:

    • Currently be living in Perth, WA
    • Have experience in a similar role supporting and administering medium to large-scale IT environments.
    • Demonstrated ability to effectively troubleshoot and resolve issues.
    • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Azure and PowerShell
    • Experience working with:
      • Windows Server,
      • Active Directory
      • Virtualisation (VMWare)
      • Office 365
      • Strong knowledge of data centre servers and storage
      • Backup software (preferably Commvault)

    Other desirable but not essential experience includes:

    • Citrix
    • Microsoft SQL 2012+
    • Cisco Networking
    • Experience managing IP telephony systems (Cisco Call Manager)
