We're seeking to appoint a commercially astute Certified Practising Accountant to join our client - a large, family owned business operating in the transport sector.

Working with the General Manager, Managing Director and board of directors, the Company Accountant will manage the accounting and administrative functions of the business. This includes leadership and oversight of the accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions; as well as management of budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

You will leverage your commercial acuity and superior interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders, and prepare and present financial reports to senior management and the board of directors, complete with analysis and recommendations.

Criteria:

• CPA qualified with minimum 5 years' accounting experience
• Minimum 2 years' senior management experience
• Transport/logistics experience highly regarded
• Full Australian Working Rights
