    About the Role

    We are seeking an experienced Commissioning and Technical Specialist to join our Energy Solutions team in Chipping Norton. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Power Generation systems.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Coordinate and complete various jobs on Energy Solutions products, including directing sub-contractors.
    • Diagnose, repair, commission, service, and install our Energy Solutions systems with large Diesel and Gas Generators, Rotary UPS, and Battery Storage solutions, including their control and auxiliary systems.
    • Work closely with customers, consultants, partners, and internal teams to deliver exceptional customer satisfaction.
    • Perform Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) activities, complete commissioning and test documentation for seamless handovers.

    Requirements

    • Trade or engineering qualification – electrical, (industrial) electronics, controls, or similar.
    • Prior experience with electrical diagnostics, fault-finding, modifications, and the installation and commissioning of complete mechanical/electrical systems.
    • Solid knowledge of generators, controls, instrumentation, switchgear, and auxiliary systems.
    • A background in Power Generation, Energy Storage, or Datacentre applications is preferred; however, training is available for the right candidate.
    • Easily work independently but also thrive in a team environment.
    • Effective communication and teamwork skills, actively promoting Penske's values and purpose.
