Allied Health at Cabrini offers senior consultant and leadership roles; work in clinical streams; a junior staff rotation and support program; professional development and teaching opportunities; and developing strong external and university partnerships.

    How you will make an impact
    We are seeking casual Physiotherapists to join our team to provide evidence-based contemporary care to our patients at Cabrini.

    We have opportunities for casual physiotherapists to work on both weekdays and weekends in different areas of physiotherapy including:

    • Acute surgical - including cardiothoracic and abdominal
    • Acute orthopaedics - including joint replacement, trauma, neurosurgery, ED, paediatrics
    • Acute General medical and neurological
    • ICU
    • Inpatient rehabilitation – including orthopaedics, neurological and reconditioning
    • Outpatient rehabilitation and Rehabilitation in the Home

    You will work with the physiotherapy team to provide evidence-based contemporary care to our patient cohorts.

    We will roster you based on your clinical experience and specialisation. You need not have worked in all these areas to be a successful candidate for this role.

    Key responsibilities:

    • Contribute to the delivery of high quality and compassionate clinical care.
    • Provide patient-centred physiotherapy to clients, including goal setting, assessment, appropriate treatment, and evaluation of therapy.
    • Work with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure safe and appropriate treatments and discharge planning.
    • Follow Cabrini documentation policies and handover procedures.

    About You
    We are looking for dynamic and enthusiastic Grade 2 Physiotherapists who are passionate about providing high quality care for our patients in line with our Cabrini mission and values.

    Experienced Grade 1's who are ready for an opportunity to step up into a Grade 2 role are encouraged to apply.

    You will have:

    • A physiotherapy degree, as well as current registration with AHPRA.
    • Experience working in a hospital environment or community setting
    • Experience assessing and discharge planning complex patients
    • Strong time management skills, including the ability to prioritise busy caseloads and to work autonomously
    • Strong team approach and good communication skills within a multi-disciplinary team
