    About the Role

    We currently have a 12-month fixed-term opportunity for an experienced Strategic Sourcing person to join our evolving Talent Acquisition team.

    The key purpose of the Talent Acquisition Sourcing Specialist is to act as a subject matter expert on all things talent sourcing, building and maintaining a talent pipeline for current and future critical roles while ensuring a positive experience for both candidates and stakeholders alike.

    They will be responsible for developing strong relationships with the Talent Partners and Hiring Leaders in order to influence decisions and focus on AGL's key D&I objectives (e.g gender balance) and help drive the design of recruitment campaigns to uncover hard to find talent for various parts of the business.

    What you'll be doing:


    • Deploy innovative and strategic approaches to talent identification, staying ahead of industry trends


    • Partner with Talent Acquisition Partners and influence Hiring Leaders to build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future critical roles


    • Leading strategic support for transformation projects and collaborate with stakeholders


    • Building and maintaining a talent pipeline for current and future critical roles


    • Conducting market research and providing insights to enhance talent acquisition strategies


    • Acting as a talent ambassador for AGL, maintaining positive candidate experiences and ensuring the candidate experience is prioritised throughout the process


    • Analysing sourcing metrics and generate reports to inform decision-making


    • Utilising advanced search tools and technologies to identify potential candidates


    • Utilising an array of tools such as Seek Premium, LinkedIn Recruiter, LinkedIn Talent Insights in order to understand the talent landscape, often for difficult to fill/niche positions


    • Developing credibility as a trusted advisor to hiring leaders to be able to influence key hiring decisions

    About You

    What you'll bring to the table:


    • Extensive talent acquisition experience in a large, complex organisation


    • Proven ability to secure difficult to find talent through proactive searches, market mapping and talent pooling


    • Strong experience with ATS and other recruitment related systems (e.g Workday)


    • High degree of emotional intelligence, combined with strong communication skills to build partnerships with hiring leaders and candidates


    • Strong ability to apply critical thinking to solve talent acquisition challenges


    • Ability to explain Market Insights to Hiring Leaders
