- Report to the Project Manager on a regular basis, advising them of any current or potential issues.
- Manage dispute resolution between clients and subcontractors as required.
- Oversee the quality of trade works to ensure the required standard is achieved in all aspects.
- Coordinate variation works between clients and subcontractors.
- Implement and maintain OH&S standards onsite.
- Compile Site Safety Plans and develop Risk Registers for high risk works.
- Monitor progress of works against the construction schedule.
- Manage and coordinate project site team whilst maintaining associated paperwork control.
- Coordinate procurement/delivery of materials, trades and contract letting.
- Engage and liaise with key project stakeholders including clients, designers, facility managers, consultants and tenants.
- 5+ years experience in the construction industry delivering projects – ideally with large scale project knowledge
- Trade or tertiary qualifications in a relevant field.
- Hold a valid White Card (construction induction).
- Proven experience with successful delivery of new build and renovation projects.
- Compliant with all established workplace rules and Health & Safety requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communications.
- Strong environmental awareness.
- Sound dispute management and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards.

A new opportunity for a Site Manager to assist with the delivery of a $60m project based just SORTEN Recruit are working closely with a leader in the commercial construction industry, with over 60 years experience, our client has successfully delivered a variety of projects across Western Australia. With ongoing growth in the commercial sector, we are now looking for a high-performing Site Manager to assist with the delivery new-build projects up to $100M. Your initial project would be to assist in the delivery of a $60m new build (not apartments) which is based just SOR.
