    About the Business

    In this role, you will be working for our Infrastructure Services business which forms part of the CV group.

    The team specialises in electrical infrastructure works and provides a comprehensive range of design, supply and construction services. Our projects include major road and rail infrastructure, commercial and industrial projects, urban developments and subdivisions, and airports and airfields.

    We have over 110 team members with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects for our wide range of clients.

    About the opportunity

    We have an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Supervisor to join our team based at Hendra. As the Electrical Supervisor you will:

    • Coordinate all site activities under the guidance of the Project Manager
    • Lead and manage the accountability for multiple teams of electrical workers
    • Collaborate with the Project Manager and deliver cost effective construction methodologies
    • Coordinate with the Project Engineer to ensure work planned and is delivered to the highest standards in terms of quality, environmental and health and safety
    • Provide Quality Assurance and control sign off to relevant works in-line with Quality Assurance process and project requirements
    • Coordinate and participate in daily pre-start meetings, toolbox meetings to help foster a productive team environment
    • Manage direct resourcing allocations in-line with project schedule and ensure works are planned for and aligned
    • Monitor all works currently underway and scheduled, to identify potential challenges or issues and provide direction on best method for resolution
    • Assist the Project Managers with the tracking of Apprentices, including their progress and work standards
    • Manage client and stakeholder interaction during construction

    And a bit about you
    Are you the person CV needs? If you can answer yes to the points below, you just might be

    • Preference for any experience with the Energex/Ergon network
    • Preference for any experience with High Voltage Infrastructure (private/network)
    • Preference for any experience with Substations, Large Customer Connections etc.
    • Preference for any experience with overhead, underground reticulation.
    • Preference for any experience/understanding switching Low Voltage networks
    • Preference for any experience with the TMR Network, Including Rate 3 lighting
    • 5 + years' experience working in the electrical construction industry
    • Demonstrated experience in a Supervisory role, or similar
    • Current unrestricted QLD Electrical Workers Licence
    • Current manual drivers' licence
    • High level of organisational and planning skills, as well as excellent attention to detail
    • Proven leadership and communication capabilities
    • Competent in providing training
    • Unwavering commitment to WHS and environmental procedures
