    About the role:

    Holcim are currently seeking for a reliable and experienced Agitator Driver to join our team in Gnangara, WA. As an Agitator Driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient mixing, inspection, and delivery of premixed concrete, while upholding the highest standards of quality and reliability.

    Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate an agitator truck to deliver premixed concrete to designated locations.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of the concrete mixer to ensure it meets safety and quality standards.
  • Comply with all relevant safety, health, and environmental legislation to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and work instructions, including drivers' instructions.
  • Assist with regular maintenance activities as directed by the production supervisor, including completing the Daily Operator Checklist and ensuring truck and mixer cleanliness.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the concrete in the mixer to ensure it conforms to the nominated specifications.
  • Monitor and maintain the slump of each load within tolerance limits.
  • Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Previous experience as an agitator driver or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong commitment to safety and a thorough understanding of safety regulations.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong attention to detail.
  • Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and ability to perform routine checks.
  • Physical fitness to handle the demands of the job, including the ability to lift heavy objects.
  • Flexibility to work variable hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
