    Job Opportunity
    Reporting to the General Manager – Finance and Business Improvement, the Senior Business Analyst is responsible for partnering with Operations teams providing education, project modelling, budget updates, forecasting and enabling the improvement of system related processes to achieve key business milestones.

    The role will be offered as a permanent full-time position, located in Peet's head office in Perth CBD.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Contribute to the improvement of processes and systems, including research and evaluation of emerging technologies to boost productivity, efficiency and accuracy of existing methods or tools.
    • Identify and analyse issues, risks and benefits of existing and proposed solutions and outlining business impacts including escalating proposed solutions through reporting line to improve financial control and operational efficiencies.
    • Gather and validate data and provide technical guidance to the Operations teams providing modelling that enables their project feasibilities, budgets, and forecasts in accordance with agreed outcomes.
    • Estimating costs and identifying business savings by reviewing and critically analysing project feasibilities to ensure assumptions are captured correctly, accurately and represent a reasonable financial position for the projects.
    • Conduct, analyse and report on necessary data such as budgets, sales results and forecasts for assigned projects delivering information with a high degree of accuracy and within required timeframes.
    About You
    The successful candidate will have at least 7 years' experience, understanding business analysis concepts and techniques to deliver strong commercial, financial, and analytical solutions and including cash flows, profit and loss, financial forecasting and budgets. You will also possess a relevant qualification in Commerce, Property, Accounting, or a Business degree.

    To see you succeed in the role, you will require a high level of computer literacy and proficiency with MS Office Suite, including advanced excel capability to conduct financial modelling. Industry experience and/or experience with Power Query, Power BI and Kepion would be highly advantageous, but not essential.

    In addition, to your strong analytical skills you will also demonstrate effective communication with the ability to collaborate and build strong working relationships. You will be patient, resilient and demonstrate your ability to adapt easily to changing priorities to enable team success and meet project deadlines.
