The opportunity
Our PE+I team is renowned for its expertise in managing complex, high-value property claims and subrogated recoveries in Australia, New Zealand,
and the region.
,We specialise in various property-related sectors including energy resources power renewables infrastructure handling indemnity disputes complex coverage issues dual insurance actions crisis management for local international insurers during catastrophic events We excel cases involving multi-party recoveries often with intricate factual or forensic elements requiring active engagement with co-insurers and the broader market Our focus is on maximising recovery income delivering efficient timely resolutions for insurers
Responsibilities
- Advising on coverage for first party losses Conducting legal research document review Briefing conferencing with loss adjusters experts counsel Drafting advice clients on coverage strategy Assisting subrogated recoveries advising insurers prospects Handling all aspects recovery litigation drafting pleadings proof witnesses settling expert evidence Attending settlement discussions represent clients effectively Contributing thought leadership drafting articles preparing presentations legal developments areas interest our clients To be considered you will need Admitted years relevant legal experience preferably insurance litigation Strong analytical research skills Excellent written verbal communication skills Ability work independently part collaborative team Commitment delivering quality services
