    The Opportunity

    We seek a Business Development Manager based in VIC, responsible for building and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers within our Mechanical Parts business. This role will work closely with Sales Management to understand customer needs and support those needs to make a positive contribution to their business. The goal is to replicate this knowledge to target newly identified potential customers, growing our business using our lead generation program.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Establish and nurture positive relationships with key Mechanical and Automotive Wholesale organisations as primary activity.
    • Foster face-to-face and phone meetings with existing key Mechanical customers to expand opportunities for ACM in their business.
    • Present customer feedback on service levels, product quality, and delivery to internal stakeholders.
    • Facilitate agreed changes or improvements to deliver a better experience for customers.
    • Maintain the customer portfolio efficiently.
    • Promote our products/services addressing or predicting clients' objectives.
    • Develop an in-depth knowledge of the industry to support ACM Part's growth and diversification, meeting or exceeding customer expectations continuously.
    • Create and implement innovative procedures/strategies to improve customer outcomes and satisfaction levels.
    • Analyse sales reports to understand potential areas for improvement for each customer.

    Requirements

    • Previous experience in sales and account management.
    • Automotive Parts knowledge – able to interpret parts.
    • Experience in building business relationships/customer service.
    • Account Managing/Business Development experience.
    • Able to analyse reports and interpret.
    • High computer proficiency.
    • High Attention to detail.
    • Personable and patient.
